Folkart Bird Pincushion Great folkart bird pincushion, tightly filled with wool and weighted at the bottom. It is 3˝" high, 7" wide and sits on a covered wood base. Note the little black bead eyes surrounded with radiating stitches. This is the perfect addition to your primitive sewing room! This one is made of over-dyed homespun—it can also be made of aged linen or wool. Please inquire about other color choices.

Sewing Box with Linen Pincushion What a great gift for any seamstress! This aged, fabric-covered box (other colors and prints available!) has an hand-dyed linen pincushion (stuffed with wool) permanently fixed to the lid. The inside is lined in the same wonderful barn red (the actual fabric is darker than the photo appears). The box is a generous 7˝" in diameter.

Wool make-do Make-do style pincushion made entirely of wool in primitive green, overdyed gold and brown tweed and mounted on a painted wood base. It’s stuffed tightly with wool (the better to preserve your needles and pins), and would make a perfect gift for your favorite needlewoman (yourself perhaps??).

Pincushion with hand-grained base A true folkart classic! I have hand-grained the finish of the box bottom with vinegar painting. The pincushion is made of a piece of blue and white coverlet and is stuffed with wool.
